I am so blessed. My own relationship with my Mother-In-Law was rocky and difficult. I was SO afraid of becoming a Mother-In-Law. I remember telling Jamey when she and Ken got married that I had no idea how to do this but I would do my best. But i am so lucky! It just goes against common sense, IMO, to expect the government (which has done such a GOOD job of running the DMV, the EDUCATION system and the IRS) to do a good job with such a huge bureacracy.
